Hello, Orlando!

by - 7:50 PM

We landed in Florida around 9pm on May 2nd and enjoyed looking at the city night lights of Orlando while we drove to our resort. We saw fireworks in the distance and twinkling lights of different attractions and buildings. Orlando, even though touristy, is magical nonetheless! We stayed at the Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort inside Walt Disney World. My aunt and uncle have a timeshare here and were so generous in booking our room! A 15th floor 2-bedroom presidential suite! It was B-E-A-UTIFUL! Our master bathroom was amazing! I never knew the convenience of his and hers sinks until this trip. Chhally and I agreed that if we ever were to find a dream home, his and hers sinks are a must. Oh, and that glass shower. That's become a must have, too. After checking into the hotel and dumping our luggage, we all made a trip to the nearest grocery store to purchase food and drinks to stock our fridge and toiletries. The next morning, we had ourselves a classic breakfast of eggs, bacon, pancakes, toast, and fresh watermelon. Then spent the day swimming away in the pools! Soo relaxing and wonderful. We got our tan on! To celebrate our first night of vacation, we all went out for dinner at the famous Hard Rock Cafe in Universal's Citywalk, talk about nightlife central. The clubs and bars here were packed with people, and everyone we encountered was so fun and outgoing. The night was so warm, when we went in we HAD to ask the hostess if a table was available out on the patio. I have to say, I was loving the folks at Hard Rock already. They were badass. Tattoos and piercings and brightly colored hair. Hard rock, indeed. Famous Rock N Roll memorabilia decorated the entire place. After a couple minutes, they were able to accomodate us! We were so lucky to score a seat on the patio! Joining us on this trip were my brother, Kenneth, and his two friends. My sister, Claudia, and her friend as well as her precious baby girl! Chhally and I!

The boys all got burgers. "The Legendary Burger" I
got the pulled pork sandwich with fries, coleslaw, and beans. One of the best I've tried! Soo yummy! Then we walked off our food and capped off our night by strolling through Citywalk. And taking a picture in front of the Hard Rock sign!
